Our Tasting Room Experience
Tasting Room Hours
Friday 3-8
Saturday 1-7
Sunday 1-7
We operate a tasting room right in our barrel room at the winery. As our tasting room manager describes and pours each tasting, you'll sit at our bar gazing on wines in process in French Oak barrels. We offer a no nonsense, unapologetically Texas wine tasting experience. We aim to highlight West Texas, specifically Lubbock, as the excellent wine growing region it is. What better place to taste wine than the place it's grown, barreled, and aged?
Knowledge is something we cherish and love to share at Pheasant Ridge. While we're happy to talk vine clones with the nerdiest of wine lovers, we love to help first time wine drinkers. There is simply no reason such a relaxing thing as wine needs to be stressful or intimidating. Our tasting room manager leads newcomers and veterans through the wine tasting, gives tasting notes, and can even teach you how to properly taste wines. If you've never "got it" when doing a wine tasting, join us and we'll start your journey! We enjoy nothing more than sharing how lovely Lubbock grown grapes can be with everyone.
Welcome to Texas wine country!
Tastings are $5 per person, and typically include 6-8 wines.
Picnic at the Winery
Feel free to bring a picnic with friends and family! We sell wine by the glass ($4 whites, $5 reds), as well as by the bottle for tables. Join us for a tasting inside, then stroll outside for a picnic on our covered patio.
Best directions to
Pheasant Ridge WInery

Google & siri directions take a very old road
We're actively working with Google and Apple to correct the directions to the winery.
For the time being, you can use navigation, but do not take Exit 13. Wait until Exit 14 to stay on new, rain resistant roads.
The best route to the winery is:
North on I-27
Exit 14, right (East) at Alon gas station onto FM1729 for 2 miles
Right (South) on CR2600 for 1 mile
Left (East) on CR5700 for 0.3 mile
